2017
Founded in Florida with a simple idea: education should help people think better, grow with intention and create meaningful impact.
Biopensare Academy was created as a learning space for people who want more than information.
Every program is shaped by an interdisciplinary lens, bringing together psychology, social work, coaching, wellness, healthcare and practical application.
Our audience is intentionally broad: professionals, coaches, caregivers, leaders, entrepreneurs and lifelong learners who want to understand more, develop themselves and use knowledge in ways that matter.

Meet the Founder
Jose E. Carranza
MSW, LCSW
Founder & Educational Director
Jose is a Florida Licensed Clinical Social Worker, psychologist educated in Colombia, and internationally trained Life & Business Coach (AICP Spain - Europe).
He earned his degree in Psychology in 2013 from Konrad Lorenz University in Bogotá, where his training also included teaching and education. In Colombia, he contributed to a research team with the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
In the United States, he earned a Master of Clinical Social Work from Ana G. Méndez University in South Florida and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. His experience includes psychosocial rehabilitation for older adults, and he currently serves as a Medical Social Worker (MSW) with a national leader in hospice and palliative care, supporting patients and families through some of life's most complex moments. His international training as a Life & Business Coach adds behavioral change strategies and goal-oriented methods to his broader view of human development.
